This NFL season has had many surprises and some not so surprising things. There have been breakout rookies performing at a level no one expected. The playoffs are now beginning as the new year enters.

One team that quite possibly might be the biggest shock of the season is the Houston Texans. The team went from being one of the worst teams in the league last season to making the playoffs this season.

According to MSN.com, “In doing so, they clinched the franchise’s first trip to the playoffs in four years.”

C.J Stroud has led the Texans’ offense to where they are. He is the front runner to win offensive rookie of the year.

According to MSN.com, “The story of C.J. Stroud gets bigger and bigger with each win, especially as we crawl deeper into the playoffs. At this point, Stroud has already shoved himself into the conversation for the greatest rookie season by a quarterback ever, and the sky truly is the limit for the young signal-caller.”

The NFL playoffs are currently underway. In the first round fans saw a number of great teams get eliminated. This included teams like the Miami Dolphins, the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns. Even more good teams were eliminated in the second round. This included teams like the Green Bay Packers, the Buffalo Bills, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Houston Texans. The final four teams are the Kansas City Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens, the Detroit Lions and the San Franciso 49er’s.

All these teams have a good shot at winning the Super Bowl.
