As the school year comes to an end, there were two empty days in the school for the senior class at Eagle High. This was their well-known senior skip day, where seniors in school skipped school and made fun plans, as they spent the day with friends and out of school. There were two skip days, going from April 16 to the 17.
To start the skip days off, some people decided not to do much by choosing to just hang out at home or do something small with friends. Senior Casey Hulse did just that the first skip day.
“Thursday, I woke up, put some pjs on, got a huge bowl of coco puffs and watched ‘27 Dresses’. Later that night, I had friends over and was up late,” he said. “Sadly, the next morning I woke up sick and was bedridden.”
Although some just decided to hangout and chill at home, others decided to go out of town and go on a trip with friends. Just like senior Ozzie Faulk, who went on a trip to Loman, Idaho.

“I went on a trip to Loman, Idaho to go fishing with my good friend. I was able to escape the stress of my senior year and just chill,” Faulk said.
Some seniors decided to go into the mountains and spend their time with friends in the outdoors, hiking and making memories, such as senior Mallory Halloran, who went to McCall Idaho with a few friends.
“The time was great. We went to McCall and stayed in a cabin together. We went hiking and walking around the city,” Halloran said.
With the senior’s final year of high school, keeping the senior skip day around, gives the seniors something fun to look forward to doing during their last couple weeks of high school.
