Graduation parties are more than just a celebration, but a milestone moment where family and friends come together and celebrate seniors’ accomplishment of graduating high school. It’s a chance to look back on their high school years. Some graduates have their own celebration, others have a combined one with there friends. Whether it’s a backyard barbecue, an open-house style event or a themed party full of photos, each celebration becomes its own snapshot of this once-in- a- lifetime moment.
“I am having a joint grad party with senior Cole Gonser and senior Jacob Anderson. It is going to be on May 27 at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and we are going to be making hot dogs and burgers on the grill,” said senior Albert Castinetti.
Many seniors are planning their celebrations in their own unique ways, each adding a personal touch to mark the end of their high‑school journey. Some are choosing small gatherings with close friends and family, while others are organizing larger events filled with music, games and themed decorations that reflect their personalities.
“I am doing my grad party at my house, anyone is invited,” said senior Alexa Shannahan. “I am doing it with my best friends, May 22, catering Spitfire Tacos, playing cornhole and playing music.”
Graduation parties may all look different on the surface, but everyone is honoring the hard work, growth and memories that have shaped the class of 2026.
“I am having my grad party May 22, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at my house with my best friends Makenna Martin and Sophie Carr,” said senior Sienna Megee.
As the school year comes to a close, these celebrations mark the transition into a new chapter of their lives. Surrounded by friends, family, and memories, seniors are able to reflect on how far they’ve come while looking ahead to the future.
