The first Brandy Melville to open in Idaho is at The Village. This store offers all girls one size fits all clothing. Trends including bows, neutral colors, graphic tops and more.

Brandy Melville is one of the most well-known and popular stores for teen girls in the world. Its simple styles and patterns are the basis of why it’s so popular. It was founded by a man named Silvio Marsan and his son Stephan Marsan in the ‘80s. It started out online only until the first store opened in 2009.

According to Business Insiders, there are 140 locations in North America, Europe and Asia, it is the number one brand for teen girls.

The first ever Brandy to open in Idaho was on Feb. 14, 2024. Shockingly, it was not announced until the day before that one was opening in the Meridian Village.

“Brandy has such cute and affordable clothing,” said senior Lily Shipp. “When I found out the day before, me and my friends just had to go opening day.”

Just like Shipp, sophomore Charity Linton has gone many times since it has opened.

“The clothes there are the best to dress up or down”, she said, “all the T-shirts, sweatshirts, accessories, sweats and more are perfect for everyday wear”.

Brandy is known to have the best trendy yet versatile clothing. The opening of this new store makes it more accessible for girls rather than only having to shop online.

“I first started shopping at Brandy around two years ago and always had to order online,” said junior Gabby Gothberg. “I am so glad one opened up so close to us, and I love the store and the environment inside. It is such a good store with great prices.”

With a large selection of styles, amazing staff and a welcoming atmosphere this Brandy is an exciting addition to the Meridian Village.
