Eagle High seniors cherish the fun times they had in elementary school. Favorite teachers, friends and games made those years special.
Senior Zion Gomes had very memorable experiences in elementary school. He attended Eagle Elementary where he held very strong friendships throughout the years.
Gomes met his best friend senior Gavin Morrison in third grade, and they are still friends to this day. His other friend, senior Parker Sielaff played trumpet in front of the whole school and both Sielaff and Gomes still talk about it.
“One of my favorite memories with the guys was when we had a ‘poop’ assembly because someone wrote a bad word in what looked like poop,” Gomes said.
Gomes favorite grade was third grade because he said that’s when he found himself while also having the best memories made.
“We had the biggest snowball fight ever in third grade and it was lit,” he said.
Another senior, Maddie Vallez, had unforgettable memories in elementary school. She attended Oso Grande Elementary in California.
A solid memory that she remembers from those years was when she got student of the month. She mentioned all the students in the school sit outside for announcements and the principal gives out the award.
“I felt amazing when I got this award because the whole school heard it and clapped for me,” Vallez said.
Vallez also competed in the annual spelling bee. She is a very good writer, and it started off young.
“I got top five in the spelling bee, and it made me feel so smart and good about myself,” Vallez said.
These seniors at Eagle High are leaving their years in school with core memories they will hopefully hold with them in their future and lives ahead.
