Music plays a big role in the lives of students at Eagle High. Students enjoy all kinds of different artists.
Senior Cole Gonser enjoys the artist Dijon. Dijon’s genres are very bright and diverse. He primarily makes alternative R&B and indie music.
“I like listening to him in the car on the way to school,” Gonser said.
Gonser described Dijon’s genre and music as very elegant. He mentioned his favorite songs are “Rock n Roll” and “Many Times.”
“I love Dijon because his music is very good to me,” Gonser said.
Senior Albert Castinetti is a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They are an American rock band whose genres are typically punk, rock and energy.
“I like listening to this artist in the car on the way home from my girlfriend’s house,” he said.
Castinetti said the Red Hot Chili Peppers genre is described as dad music. He has been listening to this band for about two years.
“My favorite song by this band is ‘Other Side’ because it reminds me of my dad, and I love him,” Castinetti said.
Finally, senior Evan Vittoe takes pleasure in listening to Drake. Drake is a Canadian singer and rapper who has always been very popular because of his music.
“I listen to his music while I play basketball and I have been listening to his music for eight years,” he said.
Vittoe describes Drake’s music as smooth.
“My favorite songs by Drake are ‘The Resistance’ and ‘Shut It Down’ because they have good tunes,” Vittoe said.
Students at Eagle High appreciate a variety of genres in music and use it for many different reasons.
