The changing colors of the leaves marks the start of the fall season with the fresh, crisp air that can bring a smile to anyone’s face. It sparks excitement in many people and is by far the greatest season for social butterflies and homebodies alike. Whether one wants to cuddle up by the fire with a steaming mug of hot chocolate or go outside and take a walk amongst the fallen leaves with friends, fall is the season for self-care.

In addition to self-care, pumpkin patches are one of the best parts of the season. Going out with friends or family to pick pumpkins and enjoy the cool weather is a great activity to do to make memories.

“I think pumpkin patches are so aesthetically pleasing and really get you into the fall spirit,” said sophomore Kennedy Hilde.

Fall also sparks the start of “hoodie season.” Hoodies and sweatshirts are the most comforting thing to wear in the fall. Enjoying the colors of nature while staying comfy can boost one’s mood instantly.

“I love driving down the road and seeing all the pretty colored trees,” said senior Paisley Vigallon. “Downtown Boise is the best place to see the pretty views.”

Fall is a great season to get out and make memories with friends and family and enjoy the crisp air, fall scents or pumpkin spice lattes. There’s something everyone can enjoy during the coziest season of them all.
