As the spring season quickly approaches, students are excited to leave their winter fashion in the past and move onto more exciting and fun outfits.
The warmer spring weather gives students opportunities to wear a more diverse style. As the sun starts to come out, so can the shorts, skirts and sandals.
“My favorite thing to wear in the spring is definitely skirts and flip flops to really kick -start the warm weather,” said junior Maecy Page.
Taking advantage of the weather is a great way to choose an outfit. The cold winter influences students to not be able to wear the things they want, but only what keeps them warm.
“I wear more layers in the winter, and more baggy clothes compared to the spring,” said Senior Cole Gonser.
Other students relate to this and agree that warmer weather offers more opportunities for fun outfits.
“I go straight from sweaters to tank tops once springtime starts because I’m so excited,” Page said.
The weather also affects students’ moods while dressing, so colors are also something that always changes with the season.
“In the spring and summer, I wear more colors and more fitted clothes,” Gonser said.
The excitement of the new warmer season also allows students to become more connected with the world by spending more time outside and in nature, which also affects the things they wear because of the occasions.
“I don’t wear open toed shoes ever; I prefer grounding barefoot,” Gonser said.
Overall, it seems that most students agree that they are excited about the new clothes they will be wearing this spring and that it is more fun to be able to have more choices in their day-to-day outfits.
