As everyone enters this new year, students at Eagle High are making resolutions for the months ahead. Many want to improve their health, academics and bodies.
A new year means growth for many. It means getting rid of bad habits and getting into good ones.
Sophomore Jace Dahlgren has a very productive new year’s resolution of getting into the gym more. This means working out and putting in more effort for his own benefit.
“I want to get stronger so I can start on varsity next year for football,” Dahlgren said.
Dahlgren is setting a goal for himself to be at the gym five days a week. The gym is a safe spot for him and will continue to be throughout the year.
Senior Charlotte Dvorak has made the expectation for herself that she will get better style in clothing.
“I want to get better style and have better clothes for this new year because all of my clothes just feel like last year,” Dvorak said.
Dvorak feels more confident with the right closet. This causes her to wake up happier and ready for the day by having a nice set of clothes.
Finally, Kristian Fusco is ending his struggle with procrastination. Procrastinating certain things can end badly depending on the situation one is in.
“I want to stop procrastinating the things I have to do in school and not wait until the last minute to get it done,” Fusco said. “It keeps me off a strict schedule I have set for myself.”
All kinds of students around Eagle High have set new goals for themselves to complete in 2026. These can be accomplished with determination and concentration.
