It’s that time of year again for the seasonal menus to be released. Eagle High students’ favorite drink places get creative when incorporating the Christmas spirit into their refreshments. Popular locations that have released their Christmas drinks are Starbucks, Dutch Bros and Black Rock Coffee.
Starbucks brings many festive flavors into their limited menu, like peppermint, gingerbread, caramel and sugar cookie. Flavors like these could make anyone feel like they are at the North Pole, sitting with Santa Claus.
“From Starbucks I get a peppermint chai latte,” said junior Adeline Cranford. “Peppermint reminds me of Christmas and because it is a seasonal drink, it makes me even more excited for the holidays.”
Dutch Bros is another place that creates a holiday feeling with their classic favorites. Dutch Bros has a very large Christmas menu ranging from hot coffee, freezes and energy Rebels.
Similar to Starbucks, Dutch Bros uses flavors such as peppermint and sugar cookie, but they also have drinks with candy cane, hazelnut truffle, snickerdoodle and Rebels with fruity flavors and delicious soft top, which is a creamy, cold foam topping.
“I really like Dutch Bros for holiday drinks because I don’t like coffee, and Dutch has a lot of non-coffee options to choose from,” said senior Ella Stenquist.
Stenquist gets a Christmas Morning Chai as her drink of choice. It can be made hot or as a freeze and it’s great for chilly days and brings out the Christmas joy of December.
One last holiday favorite at Eagle High is Black Rock Coffee. Their frozen fuels, an energy drink base added with a variety of flavors, are extremely popular and added with Christmas flavors, the drinks can taste even better. Their fuels are made with fruity flavors and have an array of options. The holiday menu fuels combine tangerine, strawberry and pomegranate, making a very delicious holiday option if one doesn’t enjoy coffee and wants something sweeter.
All three of these popular drink spots bring tasty, festive beverages for Eagle High students to enjoy during the holiday season.
