The past four years have been filled with memories, friendship and challenges that have helped shape seniors at Eagle High to get where they are today. Each student has a unique experience when it comes to what their favorite memories that they made in high school.
For many students, football season is one of the most exciting times in high school. For Senior Melia Diaz, those fall nights under the stadium lights in the student section were where she made her best memories.
“I would always look forward to Friday night football games,” Diaz said. Friday Night Lights has always been loved by students at Eagle High and is a common favorite memory for seniors.
“I also loved dressing up for the game themes with my friends,” Diaz said.
After the games, Diaz would often continue the night by going out with her friends and doing activities like sleepovers and getting food. She claims those nights will always be memorable to her because of the amount of fun she had.
Others, however, had different memories that stood out to them. Senior Brendan Massey was a part of the school’s football team up to junior year and played basketball all four years.
“I have so many funny memories from all the games, practices and team dinners,” Massey said.
Massey enjoyed bonding with all his teammates, and said those relationships are what make the experience memorable.
As seniors look back, they have memories that they are going to remember for a lifetime. Whether its sports, time with friends or simple moments of daily life, the past years have played a pivotal role in who seniors are today, and who they will become.
