From a Broadway musical to an award-winning movie, the unique act between two witches is making another appearance. “Wicked: For Good” will be in theaters on Nov. 21, 2025, and it will mark the highly anticipated end of the “Wicked” series.
The well-known actresses, Ariana Grande (playing the role of Glinda) and Cynthia Erivo (playing the role of Elphaba) are the most important figures in the “Wicked” series. Their acting appealed to movie critics and brought even greater fame to the “Wicked” series, earning the film major awards and setting high standards for movies to come.
According to www.forbes.com, “On top of the film’s financial success, ‘Wicked’ went on to be nominated for 10 Oscars- including Best Picture, Best Actress for Erivo and Best Supporting Actress for Grande- and won two, for Best Production Design for Nathan Crowley and Lee Sandales, as well as Best Costume Design for Paul Tazwell.” Their success with the production of the movie, produced by Jon M. Chu, has created a great reputation for upcoming movies.
