Whether one is hanging out with friends, running errands or simply craving a sweet treat, Starbucks and Dutch Bros. are in the top ranks for holiday drinks that can brighten one’s mood. Similar but different, both establishments offer a tasty, seasonal menu that include all the most popular flavors of the season.

Dutch Bros. has a variety of wild (and very sweet) festive drinks that dropped on Nov. 1 and will be available through Dec. 31. Their new holiday trio special includes the Hazelnut Truffle Mocha, The Merry Mischief Rebel and the Snow Cap Freeze. If someone is looking for something simple, one can count on the delicious Candy Cane Cocoa or Peppermint Bark Mocha. Other great options include the Chai A-La-Mode and the Candy Cane Freeze. Reasonably priced drinks that are well worth the money makes Dutch Bros. one of the most popular coffee chains in the United States. Dutch Bros. also provides an inviting and social atmosphere with employees that love to chat, play music and smile.

“I like Dutch Bros. because I prefer energy drinks over coffee, and the Merry Mischief Rebel is my absolute favorite holiday drink they offer,” said sophomore Emma Ford.

Starbucks offers a wide variety of holiday drinks from iced coffees to chai tea lattes that dropped Nov. 2 and will be available through the end of the year. Among their most popular drinks include the Peppermint Mocha, the Caramel Brulee Latte and the new Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai. Other delicious options include the Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, the Peppermint Mocha Frappuchino and the Signature Hot Chocolate. With the addition of the renowned Snowman Cookie, Starbucks is a quick and tasty spot to grab a drink. Starbucks also offers a cozy and inviting lobby that is great for students to settle in and work on their academics or other activities.

“Starbucks is my go-to when I’m in the mood to hangout and sip on a warm drink,” said senior Ava Shoplock.

Holiday menus are a fun and festive way to start the holiday season. Considering one’s preferences, there are many tasty choices to pick from both Dutch Bros. and Starbucks. The holiday season is a great time to try the new tasty drinks.
