ASL Club
On April 4, the ASL Club members held an Easter egg hunt at the Chateau Park and made up to ten thousand eggs for the event.
Band
Students will be preparing for concerts until the end of the year.
BPA
BPA will be in Nashville, Tennessee from May 6 to May 10.
Chess Club
Chess club members are now meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the library.
Drama Department
The Drama Department members are doing radio shows with Foley Sounds in the stagecraft class.
HOSA
Members attended the Idaho HOSA State Leadership Conference before spring break. Seniors Sophia Carr, Sienna MeGee, Presley Deck and Sophia Jacobs placed in the top 10 for Creative Problem Solving. Senior Mia Dickens placed third in the Occupational Therapy and senior Lucy Martinez also placed third in Physical Therapy and first in the HOSA History Exam.
Mountain Bike Team
Registration for the team opened on April 1 and they hosted orientation night on April 9. Practices will start on July 7 and will continue to practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday until the race season starts in August. There’s a six-race season with each team getting a bye week. They currently estimate that they will have 70 to 80 student athletes on the team and around 50 coach volunteers.
