The concerts in 2026 are expected to draw huge crowds around the world. Live music is rising again with many artists going on tour this year.
A big popular artist that freshman Mika Wooley is seeing live this year is The Weeknd. Abel Tesfaye is performing in Latin America, the U.K. and Europe from April-August 2026, and Wooley is seeing The Weeknd on July 24 in Milan, Italy. He has been listening to him for three years now. His favorite songs are “Often” and “Wicked Games.”
“I am super excited for this concert and to see him perform live,” Wooley said.
Another artist going on tour is the band, Journey. Junior Luke Sampson is seeing them this spring.
This concert will be held on April 14 at the Extra Mile Arena in Boise, Idaho. Sampson’s favorite songs are “Don’t Stop Believing” and “Open Arms.”
“I love jamming to these songs because they have good rhythm,” Sampson said.
An artist that has become more popular in mid 2025-early 2026 is Don Toliver. Junior Hayden Williams will be attending his tour in California. This concert is on June 28 in Los Angeles.
“I have been listening to him for three years and my favorite song is Brother Stone,” Williams said.
Finally, a very cool artist that junior Elise Oillic will be seeing is Damso. He is very popular in France. Oillic is seeing Damso in France sometime in June, and she has been listening to him for two years now.
“My favorite song is 911 because to me the rhythm is so catchy,” Oillic said.
The students at Eagle High have diverse opinions on artists. They all enjoy different styles of music and will be seeing incredible artists in the year 2026.
