Youth worldwide are striving to embrace themselves and find their own personal style. Eagle High students are often influenced through fashion and social media, which determine how trends are formed.
Towards the end of 2025, there was a gradual trend of growth in men’s style, referred to as performative. Some men are becoming more aware of their fashion choices. A performative outfit typically consists of baggy jeans, a quarter-zip and some sneakers. It is accessorized by wired Apple earbuds, blue light glasses and a matcha drink.
Freshman Boxer Stone is very passionate about his style. He searches and scrolls through TikTok to find new, trending and underground brands.
“Yeah, I am into streetwear and performative fashion,” Stone said.
In 2026, he believes that the Japanese shoe brand, Onitsuka Tiger, will continue to trend at Eagle High.
Another student thinks that the famous brand, Puma, is going to influence a lot of high schoolers.
“In my personal opinion, I think Puma is going to do something big,” said senior India Taylor. Taylor is a fashionista, and she scrolls through the app, Pinterest, for outfit inspirations.
Taylor believes women’s style has taken a bit of a turn, that fun animal prints and bright colors will continue trending.
Students scroll through different social media platforms to shop and to find their own personal styles. Being confident can be hard for high-schoolers, but with the help of fashion students can be comfortable in their own skin.
Overall, the new year invites room for change and growth. Eagle High students are excited to wear clothes to represent themselves and their fashion game.
