Many students at Eagle High are looking forward to the two-week winter break coming up. It is the perfect time for a vacation or a couple relaxing weeks at home.
Some students have exciting plans for the break. Junior Brynlee Gneiting is looking forward to her 10-day ski trip with her family this winter. Gneiting and her family are going to four different ski resorts to get in all the skiing they can. They are going to Grand Targhee Ski Resort in Wyoming, Jackson Hole Resort in Wyoming, Big Sky Resort in Montana and finally, Sun Valley Resort here in Idaho.
“I am excited to get some skiing in before Christmas,” Gneiting said. Skiing is a popular activity for students over winter break. Many students are excited to get on the slopes this winter.

Meanwhile, other students are going the opposite way with their break plans. Some students are escaping the cold over break. Junior Hadley Barker is heading to Mexico. Barker and her family are going to Xcaret all-inclusive Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. It will be tropical and fun for Barker and her family.
Of course, some students don’t have any big plans at all and are excited about a relaxing break at home. Barker is also excited for her time at home as well.
“I’m excited for a few Christmas parties and baking,” she said. Many students enjoy being at home, hanging out with friends or baking their favorite winter treats.
A break from school is just what many students need. Eagle High students are ready for first semester to be over and have an exciting or relaxing two weeks off before next semester.
