BPA
BPA club members are currently planning a Rake Up Boise event on Nov. 15, and they are looking for volunteers.
Creative Writers
The Creative Writers Club members are meeting every two weeks on Thursdays and students who want to join are free to stop by teacher Christan Gross’ room, E111, on one of the meeting dates.
Drama Department
The Drama Club will be competing in the District Drama Tournament on Nov. 15
Japanese Club
Japanese club members went to a corn maze on Oct. 30.
Library
The library just recently finished their Wonderland Memorial Corner on Oct. 21. Family and friends gathered for the ribbon-cutting and tea party to celebrate the life of Hannah Earker. During November, the library held a bookmark contest on Nov. 3 for students to pick up a template to design their own bookmark. The winning design will be professionally printed and displayed in the library for students to use throughout the year.
Main Office
On Nov. 4, there will be no school for professional development and following this, Eagle High will be hosting a Veterans Day celebration in the auditorium at 7:00 p.m. The seniors will also be able to retake their tux and drape photos on Nov. 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. After this, Thanksgiving Break will be from Nov. 24 to Nov. 28.
Speech and Debate
The club had their first tournament on Oct. 11 and won third place for squad efficiency. They will now have a tournament on Nov. 7 and Nov. 8 for the Canyon County Classic at Caldwell High.
