Band

The Eagle High band has their end of year concert is scheduled for May 16. So far, they have only two pieces picked out. One of their pieces is called “Arabesque” and it’s an Arabian style piece. They are also playing a song called “I Love My Love”, which is an instrumental version of an English folk song about a woman who goes mad when her lover is sent to war. Most recently, band won the WGI World Percussion Championship.

BPA

BPA meets every Wednesday in teacher Joe Gossi’s room, SE 201. They are working on their projects for Nationals in May.

Career Center

The Career Center will have a senior celebration on May 7 from 9:30-11:30 AM at the Eagle High Thunder Stadium. This will be for seniors with post-graduation plans including college, military, career technical program or any post-high school programs.

Creative Writing Club

Members of writing club are working on writing their children’s book at the moment.

Earth Club

Earth club planned a Tree Service Project on April 20.

GSA

On April 12, GSA had a Day of Silence to honor and protest all of the oppression of minorities and harassed groups from the anti-LGBTQ+ bills.

Horsebear Hockey

Hockey season is over, and the team took second place in the State Tournament in Haley, Idaho during the first weekend of March. Tryouts for next year’s team will be in August.

NHS

NHS will be beginning the Walk for Water fundraiser to raise money to help provide clean water to Guatemala and Ecuador. Any NHS members are welcome to join, and participation is required to interview for NHS officer next year.

Student Council

Student Council members have been really busy this month picking next year’s ASB and the class office campaigns.

TSA

In TSA, students participated at the State Leadership conference the first week of March.  Depending how they do at the competition, some may be eligible to travel to the national competition in Orlando, Florida this summer.
