BPA

If students have questions about Business Professionals of America, they should contact teacher Joe Gossi. More information should be on the announcements about BPA. Most meetings will have pizza in room SE201. BPA looks forward to this year because they took five people to Nationals in Anaheim last year.

Chess Club

After school, chess club members meet on Wednesdays and Fridays in teacher Stephen Pratt’s Classroom in east 107. Training and competition will prove who’s the number one chess player in the school, valley and in the state. They are hoping to win the match against the Centennial High Chess Club in November.

Eagle Young Life

On any given Monday that students have school, they can count on it being the best night of their week with Eagle Young Life. Young Life is a place where everyone is welcome. They go on crazy adventures together, laugh hard and make lasting friendships. They talk about life – the highest of highs, the lowest of lows, and everything in between. They talk about God and what a life with God could look like. Young life is a safe place for students to bring all their questions, to wrestle with doubt and to be curious about who God is. Young Life started Sept. 11. The best way to keep up to date is to follow the Instagram account @eagleyounglife and the website northwestadayounglife.com or to ask someone who goes. The club members can’t wait to meet new students.

Earth Club

At the most recent meeting, the club has talked about some future fundraisers that they will hold such as river cleanups and volunteer work.

HOSA

Those interested in joining the Heath Occupations Students of America this year should contact teacher Tara Kishpaugh or teacher Nick Brunker, and they will add new members to the team’s channel for communication. HOSA is a club for anyone who wants to work in healthcare.

Key Club

Key Club members are working at Spring Creek Bingo Night in September. They are raising funds for their activities through concessions and babysitting teachers’ kids.
