Choir

On Sept. 30, choir held a fall concert, and they will perform a Christmas concert on Dec. 12 and Dec. 13.

Counseling Office

The counseling office have gotten a “gumball” machine where students have the chance to win a free t-shirt coupon for a Mustang shirt sponsored by Ridley’s Market. However, even if students don’t get a shirt in their capsule, they still will be able to get candy or a toy.

Debate

The Debate team has been doing practices on Monday nights to prepare for a Varsity tournament on Oct. 11 at Capital High. Following this, the team will compete in the Novice tournament at Borah High on Oct. 18.

Drama Department

The Drama club will be performing their play “Let’s Murder Marsha” from Oct. 22 to Oct. 25.

FCA

FCA held their first meeting on Oct. 1 and will continue to have meetings once a week.

FCCLA

Former student Jimmy Larsen is now going to help advise FCCLA with the ability to learn as much as an advisor. The club’s first event will be on Oct. 28.

Japanese Club

The Japanese club had a cooking night on Oct. 15, and members were able to make okonomiyaki.

Knit and Crochet Club

The Knit and Crochet club officers are senior Kate Kuan, senior Secily Peterson and senior Laura Ward. They will now begin teaching basics at their next few meetings.

Library

The library had their first Idaho Battle of the Books (I.B.O.B) meeting on Oct. 15. During this meeting members’ permission slips were collected, team groups were formed, they also were able to choose the novels each participant will read.

Main Office

On Oct. 16 and Oct. 17, seniors will take their tuxes and drape photos.

Women Innovators Club

On Oct. 16, the Women’s Innovation Club took a bus to the College of Idaho for the SHETECH conference. This is a hands-on workshop taught by STEM role models to teach students about how to find, fund and thrive in the right career.

Student Council

Student Council put on a Trunk or Treat on Oct. 28, for students and their families to hang out together and pass out candy.
