Many fans are raving about the new “Dune” movie. It has been called remarkable and massive by fans all over the world.

Dune: Part Two picked up right where the first movie left off and did so beautifully. The visual effects of this movie may be its biggest seller. Greg Fraser won an Oscar for the cinematography of the first movie. That movie’s visuals pale in comparison to this one. Fraser is believed by many to have a chance to win his second Oscar next year with the “Dune” franchise for this movie. Currently, the movie has made 367 million at the box office

According to rogerebert.com, “Dune: Part Two” has been compared to “The Empire Strikes Back” in the run-up to its release, and that’s not quite right. The better comparison is “The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers,” another film that built on what we knew about the characters from the first film, added a few new ones and really amplified a sense of continuous battle and danger.”

This film does an amazing job on building onto the characters story from the first movie. Some fans have described this movie as breathtaking. Fans feel as if they are living inside the film. It has been said that it takes fans to their own fantasyland.

“This movie was really good and did a great job at making you empathize with the characters,” said freshman Jeremiah Dutchover.

Any fan that enjoyed the first movie has to go watch this one. It is an outstanding sequel that will probably win many awards.
