With spring around the corner, the weather is changing, and so are the fashion trends at Eagle High. The sun starts to shine more, and students get more creative with their outfits to show their favorite spring clothing. Some students have shared what their spring outfits consist of.
Sophomore Lauren Skeesuck said her go-to spring outfit is midrise jeans with a baby tee and Birkenstock clogs or adidas sambas. Sambas and Birkenstocks have been an extremely popular trend among teenagers. They are cute and basic shoes that can easily be styled with any outfit.
Sophomore Alaina Hayhurst has a similar go-to spring outfit: low rise jeans with a crop top. Low rise jeans have made a strong comeback in fashion trends.
“This is the perfect spring outfit because it keeps me warm because it’s not cold outside, but not hot, it’s the perfect temperature for this outfit,” Hayhurst said.
Junior Zion Gomes explained his spring outfit.
“I wear baggy jeans, a t-shirt and sandals. Sometimes I will wear a hat,” Gomes said. He said that he likes to wear casual and comfortable clothing in the spring.
Sophomore Birklie Smith shared her favorite spring outfit.
“I wear midrise blue jeans with a pastel t-shirt. The word spring just reminds me of bright, light colors, so wearing pastel in the spring is so cute,” Smith said. Wearing pastel colors in the spring has been a trend for many years now.
Along with clothing changes in the spring, hair and makeup styles change as well. Skeesuck, Hayhurst and Smith all said that they wear less makeup in the spring because they get more tan from the sun being out.
“In the spring I get a low taper fade,” Gomes said. Gomes said he cuts his hair for the spring so it will grow out for the summer.
“I love to do half up half down hairstyles in the spring I think they are so cute, but a lot of the time I just wear my hair down,” Skeesuck said.
Smith said she likes to curl her hair in the spring.
Spring fashion is always changing with new styles appearing on social media and tv shows. Students at Eagle High are excited to wear their favorite spring clothing and enjoy the nice warm weather.
