Golf enthusiasts, get ready to tee off the start of golf season with a bang! The biggest and most anticipated tournament on the PGA Tour is just around the corner, and the PGA promises it will be an exhilarating event filled with thrilling moments and heart-stopping shots. Whether one is a die-hard fan or a casual spectator, this tournament will have something for every amateur golfer as some of the greatest names in golf will battle it out for supremacy on the greens.

The Masters Tournament is the biggest and most exciting golf event on the PGA Tour. Every year, the best, professional golfers in the world come to Augusta National Golf Club to compete for the coveted award, the Green Jacket.

This year, five-time master winner Tiger Woods is back, and he’s looking to add another Masters win to his resume. It’s been 10 years since Woods’ last Masters victory, but can he return to form and capture another title?

Jon Rahm is one of the most exciting amateur golfers on the PGA Tour this year. At just 22 years old, Rahm is considered one of the best players in the world. He will be looking to add a third victory this year. Rahm has all of the talent and ability to win. He will be one of the favorites to take home the green jacket this year.

“Rahm has been dominating this whole year and is definitely my favorite to win the green jacket this year at Augusta National,” said junior Cole Johnson.

Scottie Scheffler is another promising young golfer on the PGA Tour this year. At just 22 years old, has already won two tournaments and has been contending in majors. This year, Scheffler will be one of the favorites to win the biggest golf tournament on the PGA Tour. He has already shown that he can compete with and beat some of the best golfers in the world.

So, if one is looking for someone to root for Easter weekend, look no further than Scottie Scheffler. He may just be starting his PGA Tour career, but he’s already one of the most exciting players to watch.

Another favorite among Eagle High Students is four-time major winner Rory McIlroy who is already one of the favorites heading into the tournament. The 28-year-old from Northern Ireland has a long list of awards, along with two Players Championships. McIlory is coming off a strong 2018 campaign that saw him win three times on the PGA Tour.

Students have been found all over the school watching this exciting tournament. Teacher Joe. Gossi always turns on the tournament on the T.V’s in his room,86 so his students can enjoy possible history.

“Watching The Masters last year in Gossi’s class was amazing cause it really got me into golf,” said junior Aidan Maggi.

With so much talent on the green, it’s hard to predict who will come out on top this week. But one thing is for sure: it’s going to be an exciting start to the golf season.
