As leaves start to fall and the seasons start to change, it brings out different emotions in everyone. While some are happy for the new fall season to start, others are still stuck in summer.
Although summer is fun, fall can bring new activities to students such as sports and clubs.
“I really love golfing with my friends during the fall, and my favorite fall activity is probably going on walks and taking in the nature,” said junior Wilder Orm.
Not only does fall bring out new activities, but there is also Halloween which many people nationwide look forward to. Every year, many students are excited about dressing up and going to fun parties for this holiday.
“I think Halloween is my favorite part of fall because I love the environment that Halloween creates,” Orm said.

Having an event like Halloween to look forward to in the fall can be a good way to be excited about the changing of seasons. This applies even if someone doesn’t particularly like the cool weather and prefers summer.
“I will miss summer because we didn’t have school and I will miss wearing flip flops,” said senior Jackson Phillips.
While some students look forward to fall, other students miss the freedom that they had during the summer: not having to come to school every day and being able to wear summer clothes. Summer also has fun activities that you can do in the warm weather, such as swimming, tanning or boating.
“My favorite part about summer is probably camping and just going outdoors,” Phillips said.
While both seasons have enjoyable aspects and things to do, it is interesting to know how different students are feeling about the change of seasons.
