Graduating early is always scary for several high school students. Who feel the excitement of being done with high school but may also wondering what’s coming next in life.  Senior Lizzy Artyukhov has decided to graduate a year early. She is dedicated and enjoys proving to herself that she can do hard things.

“I wanted to graduate early to get out of high school earlier,” Artyukhov said, “and to show myself I am capable of doing something that’s hard.”

Her plans after she graduates are bright; she wants to go to college and become a flight attendant.

“I am planning on going to get my bachelor’s degree,” Artyukhov said, “and then going into flight school for Delta.”

She was asked how Eagle helped her with helping her graduate early. She said that counselor Ame Trull helped her the most in the early graduation process.

“My counselor helped me the most, and I can give her full credit for this accomplishment,” Artyukhov said. “Ms. Trull pushed me, gave me a schedule to keep myself on track and motivated me to complete this.”

Artyukhov has shown that hard work and dedication truly payed off by working to finish her high school requirements ahead of schedule and being prepared for the future.

Senior Ariyanna Thompson has also decided to graduate early. Her dedication is similar to Artyukhov. They both have the work ethic to get their work done early.

“I only have two more classes to meet graduation requirements,” Thompson said. “So, I chose to become a part-time student at Eagle High this semester to complete them.”

Thompson has decided after high school that she is going to further her education Boise State University full time the spring.

“I plan to attend Boise State University in the spring as a full-time student,” Thompson said, “I’ll be studying psychology.”

Former Counselor Francesca Murphy helped Thompson a lot with setting up her schedule for this school year. Counselor Kylie Corbett has continued to help Thompson continue her journey of graduating early.

“And my counselor now, Ms. Corbett made sure everything worked out for me to graduate early,” Thompson said.

These early graduates should be proud of what they have accomplished. They have put their time and dedication to finish high school early.
