Here at Eagle High, students’ accomplishments are recognized daily. Senior Carson Bowers represents this school by being a national Merit Semifinalist- an honor that reflects exceptional academic achievement. His dedication and commitment, as well as his strong work ethic, shows what kind of students there are here at the school.
“I dedicated my entire summer to studying for it, putting in countless hours of hard work and focus, so it was incredibly rewarding to finally see all of that effort pay off,” Bowers said.
After high school, Bowers’ dream is to attend Duke University, which has always been his top ivy league school choice, due to its outstanding academic reputation. In addition to Duke, he is also applying to other ivy league schools like the University of Pennsylvania, Yale and Dartmouth.

“I plan to study applied mathematics in college and in the future, hope to pursue my career in the finance industry by being an investment banker,” Bowers said.
He isn’t just an academic standout; he’s also a dedicated athlete who plays on the Eagle High baseball team. Being a student athlete requires exceptional time management and commitment. Bowers balances both school and sports very well. Whether he’s in a classroom or on the field, he consistently gives his best effort, proving he can excel at both.
Beyond academics and athletics, Bowers is known for his leadership and positive example around campus. Teachers and peers describe him as respectful, driven and always willing to help others.
“Whenever I need help with any schoolwork, I know Carson will be able to help me understand it,” said senior Evan Vittoe.
Whether he’s tutoring classmates or encouraging teammates during practice, Bowers sets the best example by uplifting those around him. His impact on Eagle High goes beyond grades. He is a well-rounded student who strives not only for personal success, but also makes a difference in his school community.
