Fall has arrived, a chill is in the air, and the October events are here in Eagle, Idaho. The students of Eagle High are beginning to think about their plans for fall in Eagle.
“I plan on going to Haunted World and a Halloween party,” said sophomore Katie Vickery as she explained her plans for October.
The Eagle community never fails to get into the fall spirit. Fall is a time of year for people to enjoy the cool weather and comfy sweaters after the heat of the summertime. Students also look forward to the activities after school, such as the Haunted World.
“It was so much fun. We went to all the little attractions and took some pictures,” said sophomore Kaylan Donahue.
Many students attend the Haunted World’s haunted house with scare actors in Caldwell, Idaho. The event is ongoing from Sept. 12 to Nov. 1.
“My favorite part was joking with the actors and getting them to not be scary,” Donahue said as she explained her favorite and most memorable part of the Haunted World.
The Farmstead pumpkin patch and pumpkin crafts are also on the top of to-do lists when it comes to fall activities. This is what many students plan to do with their friends and family.
“My favorite October event is definitely football. I like the activity, working out with the boys and I like tackling people,” said sophomore Quinten Picard.
Many in the Eagle community enjoy going to fall football games. Some attend Boise State’s football games, and others attend Eagle High’s Friday Night Lights.
Overall, October is a month of social activities, such as haunted houses, football games and Halloween parties that many people in Eagle tend to enjoy.
