Starting high school can be a big transition, but for many freshmen at Eagle High, it’s been an exciting and positive experience so far. With new classes, teachers and opportunities, students are settling into their new high school routine.
Freshman Cade Kelly came from Eagle Middle. He said the transition from middle to high school has been more exciting than scary.
“My favorite class is yoga with Mrs. C.” Kelly said. “It’s nice being able to sleep during class.”
Next, freshman Harper Borst also came from Eagle Middle. Borst agrees that high school has been a good experience so far.
“It’s different than middle school,” Borst said, “but it was definitely exciting.” Borst is taking some fun classes this year, including myth and legends, ASL (American Sign Language) and teen living.
“Mrs. Ammo is my favorite. She’s a good teacher and has good classroom rules,” Borst said.
Lastly, freshman Kynsli Coburn explained that the transition from Eagle Middle to Eagle High made her a little nervous, but she was mostly excited to meet new people and take cool classes.
“My favorite class is probably history with Mr. Pratt; he is so funny,” Corburn said.
From fun electives to meeting new people, Eagle High’s freshmen are settling into high school and making new memories.
