Movie lovers have plenty to look forward to, from thrilling new blockbusters to dramas, the new movie line has something for everyone. Here is a look at some of the most anticipated movies hitting the theatres.
“Weapons”, the new thrilling horror movie about seventeen children who mysteriously vanish from the same classroom on the same night at the same exact time, hit the box office Aug. 30.
According to www.bing.com, “’Weapons’ has grossed $124.9 million in the United States and Canada, and $94.2 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $219.1 million.”
The film is directed, written, produced and co-scored by Zach Cregger an American actor, Comedian, writer, director and producer. This film scared Eagle High students.
“The movie was so scary I actually screamed out like a little girl, I had to sleep with the lights on for weeks,” said freshman Boxer Stone.
Next, an F1 movie hit the mainstream media, this summer. The movie, about an American sports drama film directed by Joseph Kosinski from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger. The film released by Warner Bros, and Discovery a film producer zoomed past $293 million at the global box office, becoming Apple’s highest-grossing theatrical release.
According to www.fandango.com. “The film stars Brad Pitt as Formula One racing driver Sonny Hayes, who returns after a 30-year absence to save his former teammate’s underdog team, APXGP, from collapse.”
Lastly, “Mission. Impossible- The Final Reckoning” marks the thrilling conclusion to Eathan Hunt’s latest saga, with Tom Cruise returning to deliver another action and high-stake adventure. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the film pushes the limits of daring stunts and missions. Eagle High students were big fans.
“The storyline was super cool, and the adventure was neat. I would watch it again,” said senior Brayden Lame.
2025 brought a great range of movies with an influx of adventure and storytelling.
