For the upcoming school year, it seems that new classes are making an appearance at Eagle High. From Graphic Design III to Sociology, there’s a lot more coming to Eagle High next year.
Eagle High is always excited about bringing in new classes, and next school year, they’re going to be bringing in a lot more. A small list includes Graphic Design III, Sociology, College Creative Writing and Digital Painting.
Graphic Design III is going to involve a lot more community work and designs for the school. Digital Painting is going to be using drawing tablets and digital software like IbisPaintX and Adobe to create new art using a digital medium. Classes next year are also going to have the added stipulation, that if they are hosted at Eagle High, then students can’t take the class online.

Regardless of that fact, teachers are excited for teaching these new and interesting classes. The incoming freshman, and returning other students, are going to be given more options and opportunities to get out into the world and to explore new passions inside Eagle High next year.
Teacher Taylor Damon, Eagle High’s photography and Graphic Design teacher, is super excited for the kids that are going into Graphics III.
“Graphics III is going to be a student led business for the school that we’re going to be able to do posters, graphics, flyers, handouts for school clubs and organizations” Damon said.
Students in Graphics II currently are learning poster layout and text effects in Adobe Illustrator, their prime app for everything design. They’re also learning how to use Photoshop and InDesign for layouts and photo editing.
Damon is very excited about seeing all of her students from Graphics one, the first graphic design class at Eagle High two years ago. Now, the students have found their own styles and have specific strength and in Graphics III, they’re going to work together to create new designs for the school. College creative writing is going to be more advanced and have the opportunity for college credit. More and more fun classes are making their way to Eagle High giving students the best high school experience possible.
