While there are many activities for students to do during summer and winter, there is a lot of debate on which activities are best, resulting in debates on which season is the best.
In the summer, students are able to do fun activities ranging from playing sports in the sun to swimming in the heat. However, in the winter there are arguably less things students can do due to the chilly weather conditions outside. While they might not be able to do as much outside during the winter, there are still activities that students find themselves greatly enjoying. One of the activities that students enjoy so much is skiing and snowboarding.
Nevertheless, students can find many more things to do this winter than just the normal skiing, snowboarding, sledding and ice skating. Students are also able to stay overnight at the Burgdorf Hot Springs, staying the night at Crystal Peak Lookout or even go ice fishing.
According to themandagies.com, “Burgdorf Hot Springs is one of the coolest things to do in Idaho year-round.” The reason that Burgdorf Hot Springs is so special is because students can stay overnight at a fire lookout with a 360-degree view of the stars or go fishing, even in the winter. Students should make sure they know the requirements and permits before going ice fishing since it can be dangerous when done incorrectly.
During the summer, there are many fun things students can find themselves doing, like water activities, playing outdoors or visiting Eagle Island State Park.
According to thecrazytourist.com, “When summer comes around Eagle Island State Park is a much-loved destination for its riverfront beach, complete with a waterslide open between the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. You can also ride ziplines in summer or rent a paddleboard for a peaceful river trip.”
Overall, it doesn’t really matter about the time of year, there is something for every student to do outdoors, whether that is boating or going ice fishing.
