Fall is the perfect season to be thankful for everything. There is so much to be grateful for and not a lot of people realize that. Being thankful goes beyond just saying “thank you.” Its about showing appreciation for the people in ones life. When people take time to appreciate the good things in life, it increases happiness according to many students.
“I’m thankful for the wonderful people in my life and the home I’ve been given with food in my stomach and a place to sleep every night and, most of all, thankful for my mom,” said junior Danna Quinlan.
Everyone has something to be thankful for even if it is just to be living a healthy life. As people go through tough times in their lives, just try and focus on all the good things. Family and friends are a great example. They will almost always be there and help with anything. Sports is another great thing to be thankful for because if someone is stressed, they can play there sport and to distract themselves.
“I’m thankful for all the amazing people in my life that make me happy and
support me. I’m also grateful for all the fun opportunities I’ve been able to have.”
said junior Makenna Martin.
So many great opportunities happen in life. But remember to be grateful always because there is so much to be grateful for. Simple acts of kindness, even a warm smile can make a significant impact on others and strengthen our connections with people.
