As summer ends and fall and winter approach, many new activities arise. There are tons of fun winter and fall activities. But which are better? While many love both, some students argue that one is better than the other.
Winter has many activities such as sledding, skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing, snow tubing and Christmas traditions. These winter activities are extremely popular for students all over the United States. Sophomore Roman Garcia thinks that winter is much better than fall. He claims this because he says there are many more things to do in the winter than in fall.
“My favorite winter activity is definitely snowboarding. I have skied my whole life and just recently started snowboarding last year. I love snowboarding because going down the snowy mountain with music playing is so relaxing,” Garcia said.
During the fall season, activities include most club sports, haunted houses, going to pumpkin patches, baking fall foods, getting fall drinks and football games. Sophomore Maddie Giorgetti thinks that fall is superior to winter. She says that her favorite activities are going to Haunted World, attending Eagle High football games and drinking the new Starbucks fall drinks.
“Fall provides more activities than winter,” Giorgetti said. “It’s not too cold outside and there’s not a bunch of snow on the ground. In the fall, all the club sports are in season and really the only fun thing to do in winter is ski and snowboard.”
Overall, both seasons can be great. The breezy and spooky fall season and the cold and festive winter season are hard to choose between. Both students made valid arguments on which season is better. Skiing and snowboarding in the winter or going to haunted houses and football games in the fall, which is better?
