There are so many new and exciting books coming out this fall and next year. From the “Sunrise on the Reaping” to the new “Hunger Games” book out in March of 2025 to “The Boyfriend” by Freida McFadden coming out October of 2024, there is something for everyone.
One of the most anticipated books that is coming very soon is “The Boyfriend,” written by Freida McFadden who is the author of many other famous thriller books like “One by One,” “Never Lie,” “The Locked Door” and “The Inmate.”
This book takes place in New York where Sydney Shaw, the main character, is trying to find a boyfriend. The one she finds seems to be perfect, handsome and charming as well as a doctor at a local hospital, but everyone must look out. There is a murderer on the loose who likes to date women before he brutally murders them.
The back of the book includes the chilling line, “She’s looking for the perfect man. He’s looking for the perfect victim.” This is used to build suspense before the book is even released. Will Sydney escape this murderer’s clutches? Or will she be the next in a long line of victims to fall to this handsome, charming doctor in New York City?
This next book is going to be one of the most popular book releases in 2025, adding on to “The Hunger Games” series with “Sunrise on the Reaping.” “The Hunger Games” series already has more than 100 million copies printed and sold and has been translated into more than fifty languages.
According to forbes.com, “The author of one of the most successful book and film franchises of the 21st century will add another novel to the Hunger Games series!” This add on to the Hunger Games series is going to take place during the Second Quarter Quell. This means that Haymitch could return, giving the readers a firsthand view of his games and what he went through. The theme of this book is going to be based around the ideas of narrative control and believing in those in power, which is different from the other “Hunger Games” books.
These are just two of many new and exciting books coming out soon. Are readers ready to spend the chilly, fall weather cozy indoors reading these, and more, new books?
