The National Football League, after the warm reception of adding games in Germany and Mexico City while keeping the ones in the UK, is now adding Brazil to the ever-growing roster of international games.

The first international game of the season took place on Sept. 6 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It was between the Green Bay Packers versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Among the new games, the Jacksonville Jaguars are returning to their home away from home in Wembley Stadium in London, and the German game of the season will be headlined by the Carolina Panthers. In the upcoming 24-25 season, the NFL also proposed the idea of having a game in Spain. All these international games gets Europeans interested in American football and gives teams the ability to have fun internationally playing the sport that they love. Since the addition of international games in 2007 and the revamp of it back in 2013, search results for the NFL have been exponentially growing every season.

According to nfl.com, “Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the only purpose-built NFL stadium outside of the U.S. will host games featuring both the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings while the Jacksonville Jaguars will return to Wembley Stadium as part of their multi-year commitment to playing a game in the U.K, in what will be their 12th game in the capital.”

Overall, this season is shaping up to be an interesting showdown for both teams and fans, as the season gets its start with international and domestic games alike. The first games of the season started on Nov. 5 and show a strong sense of a fighting spirit to keep the NFL going strong as they enter their 30th season.
