Having fun music amidst the cold of winter is a true highlight in the month of February. Students go to concerts at the Knitting Factory and really enjoy the atmosphere that fun music creates. Some of the upcoming music artists coming to Boise may be entertaining for many people to watch.

“I love going to concerts as often as I can… and as long as my bank account can take it.” said junior Devin Pilling.
Pilling is an avid music lover and has been anticipating going to the Cavetown concert on February the fourteenth. Lead singer Robern Daniel Skinner is an English singer, songwriter and record producer. His hit songs include “Juliet”, “Lemon Boy”, “Advice” and “Boys will be Bugs”.
“Cavetown is one of the bands I loved even back in Covid, so it’s pretty cool that they’re here in Boise,” Pilling said.
Going to Cavetown concerts is generally considered a very wholesome and super fun indie pop/rock experience.
Adverse to the mellow vibes of Cavetown, Led-Zeppelin revival night appeared at the Boise Knitting Factory for Feb. 15. An organization called ZOSO has put together a recorded classic live and studio output of Led Zeppelin from 1968-1977 and meticulously put together a recorded production of it.
“Tangerine and Going to California are my favorite Led Zeppelin songs,” said freshman Caleb Malan.
In addition to Led Zeppelin’s revival night, indie band COIN was planning to play in Boise as well for February. However, the excitement has died down due to the band breaking up suddenly.
“I had planned to go to COIN with my friends, but it turns out there was some conflict between the lead singer and the drummer,” Pilling said.
Refunds were offered for the tickets but hit songs “crash my car” and “talk too much” will be sorely missed.
Despite the cancellation of COIN, Cavetown and Led Zeppelin were highly anticipated events to be a part of during the month of February. A sense of community that is found between music lovers and the great energy that loud concert music brings can create beautiful memories.
