The Eagle Lightning Dance Team brings on new coaches with hopes of winning the State title back. The three new coaches are Jillia Romano, Delaney Schow and the head coach is Christina Shell. They all decided they wanted to be the coaches because they will go all out and lead the team to victory.
Shell, is an award-winning dancer and choreographer who has been dancing for most of her life. Trained professionally in jazz, hip-hop, ballet and modern, Christina Shell brings a wealth of dance skill to her students. Shell has choreographed for several studios and high school and college teams, as well as solos and duets. Her choreography has won numerous awards at competitions such as Spotlight and Stars Regionals.
Delaney Schow the assistant coach has trained in areas of jazz, contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, tap and ballet. She has been dancing for 16 years. Delaney Schow was the captain of her high school dance team, Timberline Dance Team her junior year. She then moved to Eagle for her senior year and earned a state title with the Eagle High Lightning Dancers. Schow currently attends Boise State University.
“My goal is to not only make kids be the best dancers they can be but to ultimately make them find the passion and love for it.” said Schow.
Jillia Romano, the other assistant coach began her dance education at the age of 4 years old training and competing in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and acro. She earned several top awards over the years for her solos, duets and teams including the Judges Awards for Self Choreography and Best Technique. Jillia spent much of her time dancing & modeling professionally in L.A. & Orange County, CA..

All the coaches are currently helping the dance team work their absolute hardest. They push the team to make them better. They also love all their girls and make sure it’s a very happy environment.
